My Vote for Barrio Dogs
I really liked what Trish (comment #67 said) and that a friend that is working hard in the Houston area for the animals safe and loving welfare is requesting her friends to get involved in this contest to continue that effort<3
What can that bring about but more loving kindness to these creatures that need our care that really give so much to us!

My little pet grp page spread the word in Newspapers, facebook grps w/well over 4,000 ppl each, classifieds, rescue groups from all over the country (thank you Wally's Friends-TN)and everywhere we could. I even sent the link to major news networks and radio stations to have them promote on their sites. So if SPAY/NEUTER CO took a lead here at the end, that's about when we were all getting involved. Our group got a late start in the competition, so If S/N Co took off, I would like to think that the good ppl of GA that were just getting the news stepped up and voted. I think all 3 of the animal grps are GREAT and that's all that matters. Because of this contest ppl now know Pro-Bone-O, Barrio and Spay/Neuter Co.
P.S. I'm retired military and had all my military and foriegn buddies voting from all over the world.

It looks like Spay/Neuter supporters are dominating the comments! I hope the Spay/Neuter Coalition wins, there's no telling how many unwanted pet pregnancies they've helped prevent. But I'm sure it's in the thousands.

I'm proud to be associated with an organization like the Spay/ Neuter Coalition. All 5 of my cats are rescues and all 5 have been spayed or neutered even though they are indoor cats. Groups like this get to the basics of the problem of over population and do something about it.

I have personally worked along side Lesha Martin and her Spay/Neuter Coaliton as she has done things like going door to door in an extremely low income neighborhood getting a tally of all animals and their needs. She is a superhero in my opinion.

Many of us here voting do what we can for as many animals as we can but I know of no one who works as hard, as tirelessly, without pay or many times even any thanks to REALLY make a difference. Spay/Neuter Coalition is making a difference in my county where there is a euth rate of over 65%. I have no doubt that SNC with some financial assistance help reduce unwanted litters not only in our state but around the US.

Lets face it, all of these deserve much more than the money they're going to get, so we just have to wish the best of luck to them all!
